Residency artist – Jonathon Oxlade
I mitten av april kommer den australiensiske konstnären Jonathon Oxlade till Nordingrå Konstbys konstnärsresidens. Här kan du läsa om Jonathons konstnärskap och vad han planerar att arbeta med under sin tid i residenset.
Jonathon Oxlade is a Production Designer for stage and screen, he also creates artists books and collages from found ephemera and the real and imagined histories collected from locations that the works are made in. The act of making a book or the pages of a book are an intuitive, archival response to place, a journal or a reference volume transformed into an artwork.
In his Nordingrå Konstby residency Jonathon is interested in continuing his practice in site specific book making, and developing new methods of construction and binding. He also has an interest in adding printmaking to the processes used to construct his work.
