Residency artist – Yifan Shao

Vi går in i en period med många konstnärer i residenset, från Sverige och hela världen! Om några dagar kommer konstnären Yifan Shao till Konstbyn för en arbetsvistelse på två veckor. Här kan du läsa om Yifan och hans arbete (engelska):

Yifan Shao (b.2003) is a Chinese composer, vocalist, painter, photographer, choreographer, and curator. He starts with tiny elements and manipulates their development as independent but interwoven journeys via exquisite cellular level mutations. With his unique forces of hyperpolyphony in composition, multiphonic singing in voice, gradient superimposition in painting, unreliable narrator in photography, nonlinear timing in choreography, and all the mutual inspirations from interdisciplinary practices, he constructs a fluid, multidimensional, and relational art world.
