IN THE HEART OF THE ART VILLAGE

Nordingrå Konstby’s residence is located in the village of Vännersta in Nordingrå, among lakes and mountains in the High Coast. Many of Nordingrå’s artists have worked in this location since the late 1980s, and the location still attracts artists from all over Sweden and the world.
Nordingrå Konstby is a year-round workplace for artists, during some parts of the year we are also open to visitors in our cafes, shop and galleries.
Our wish is for the residence to be a place for development, rest, focus and community. We want it to feel like a second home where you can feel free to be yourself.
On this page you will hopefully find answers to most of your questions and can make your booking. Let us know if you still have any questions!

THE SEASONS IN NORDINGRÅ KONSTBY

Each season has its own character, and life in our art village follows their changes. Winter is sparkling white during the first months of the year, and it turns into a sunny and fantastic spring-winter when there is still snow as spring approaches. During these periods, you can alternate skiing with work, and take advantage of the long dark evenings to immerse yourself in your work. Early summer and summer are a time when our art village is filled with visitors in galleries, cafes and shops, and the bright summer nights give us added energy, we alternate lazy days on warm rocks with art events and excursions. Late summer and autumn are often characterized by interesting art events in an unimaginably beautiful nature, both in late summer and autumn colours.
