Call for Volunteer Positions in Nordingrå Art Village

Would you like to volunteer in the Art Village and receive free accommodation and workspace? We are now opening a volunteer program that makes it possible.

What does it entail?

You work approximately 15 hours per week and receive free accommodation during your stay in one of our single rooms, sharing bathroom and kitchen facilities with other guests. We can accommodate up to 3 volunteers simultaneously. Access to a studio is available. The houses are simple and worn but cozy. A supervisor is always available to ensure there is material, tools, and information.

Currently, we have two calls for applications open for 2024:

Call for Applications 1

We are in need of 3 volunteers for gardening and outdoor work around the houses during weeks 16-18. We have two gardens with flower beds, herb gardens, flower boxes, lawns, and parking areas. We also have some art and outdoor furniture that needs to be inspected, occasionally painted, or repaired. Windows need painting, and sometimes facades as well.

Call for Applications 2

During weeks 20 and 25, we need the assistance of 3 volunteers each week. The work involves organizing premises and exhibitions, as well as preparing for the café and shop. During the Pentecost weekend 17th – 19th of May, the Art Village participates in the Nordingrå Art Round, and during the Midsummer weekend in week 25, we open for the summer season.
