DESCRIPTION
A smaller apartment with one bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has been carefully renovated in an older style and has plenty of space for a dining table and also an extra bed or sofa. The bedroom is large and equipped with a 120 cm wide bed, desk and plenty of wall-mounted wardrobes. There is room for extra beds. The bedroom has two windows. The shower is currently in a washroom outside the apartment.
The 22 square meter workroom is cosy with a functioning wood-burning tiled stove. It has two windows with a view of the property’s garden and a glimpse of the Vännersta lake. It is equipped with a table, chair and shelves and there is plenty of space for several work tables and an easel.
THE HOUSE AND ITS SURROUNDINGS
The Berling Residence is located in the old Vännersta school, which is now owned by Nordingrå Konstby. Here you live next door to Nordingrå Collective Artists’ Studios, which has its studios for graphics, tufting and enamel in the same building. On the lower level, there is a café that functions as a café and event space during the summer, and the rest of the year houses temporary events and courses. In the garden there is a veranda and an outdoor stage. The rooms in the house can generally be described as spacious and large, with high ceilings and wooden floors in most rooms.
The house is located in a small village, close to a paved road but still secluded. Nordingrå Konstby’s other property is about 100 m away, and you also have access to the common areas there, which is a garden, terrace and a kitchen shared by the residence, the coworking space and others who work permanently or temporarily in the village.
PRICE
There are two booking period options: 2 weeks or 4 weeks.
SEK 3,150 including 25% VAT (SEK 2,520 ex VAT) for 2 weeks.
SEK 6,600 including 25% VAT (SEK 5,280 ex VAT) for 4 weeks.
BOOKING
To book, select the available date and number of weeks in the calendar, above on the right. Payment of the full amount for your residence period is made at the time of booking. After you have completed your booking, you will receive an email with more information about the key code you need to enter the residence. We will also contact you to plan how best to arrange your work studio according to your needs, prior to your arrival.
PAYMENT
Payment is made through the secure card payment service Stripe. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You may cancel your booking up to two weeks prior to your residency without a cancellation fee. Your full prepaid payment will be refunded within fourteen days. Any cancellation made less than two weeks before your planned arrival will attract a 20% cancellation fee of the prepaid amount. The remainder of the prepaid amount will be refunded within fourteen days.
The accommodation, work studio and all inventory shall be left in the same condition as at your arrival. Where there has been damage, destruction or loss you will be liable to pay the amount required to make good or remedy such damage, destruction or loss. Our residence is located in a building where there are other businesses and activities, which means you undertake to abide by the rules and routines regarding locking certain rooms and handling of keys, that are in force at the time of your stay. More information will be sent via email when booking.
FIND US
The residency is situated 5 km from a small community with a supermarket and pizza restaurant. The local bus stops directly outside the residency, at the bus stop “Vännersta”, 30 km from the nearest city. The nearest train station is Kramfors, however tickets can be purchased via SJ (Swedish Railways) to Nordingrå, with a change of bus in Kramfors (inform the bus driver that you wish to alight at Vännersta).

ARRIVAL
In connection with your arrival, you will be met by an artist who is working on the day, who will show you around. Keys are in a key box and you will receive information about it via email once you have made your booking. You can therefore arrive at any time of the day.
CURRENCY
You may choose to pay in Swedish kronor SEK, Euro EUR, Pounds Sterling GBP or US Dollars USD. The default currency is Swedish kronor. If you change currency during the payment process, your basket will be nulled, therefore we advise that you select your currency before making your purchase.
